About the PPG Cup Series
As the original racing league for YouTube user Raceday2011, the IRA PPG Cup Series debuted in August of 2012 under the NAARC banner. After much conflict, the PPG Cup Series was revamped in December 2012 and was re-branded under IRA sanctioning. The PPG Cup series features the 2012 Sprint Cup cars and a majority of the schedule will feature the newest updates of all the NASCAR tracks. The PPG Cup Series's Inaugural season will have a 36 race schedule with no playoff format and will feature two new road course races at Road America and Laguna Seca. Feel free to browse the PPG Cup Series web page for more in-depth driver info, stats, schedules and news

PPG Cup Series Announcements
Michigan Race To Be Named The "US 500"
Much like the Champ Car Race rivaling the Indy 500, the PPG Cup Series is proud to announce that its Michigan race will be named the "US 500". What was a memorial day tradition is now becoming a regular stop on the PPG Cup Series schedule. IRA co-founder Robby Noonan said "It's important to remember our country's history and where we all came from. I think that this will be a great tribute to all of those brave men and women who serve us." The race will not be featured on Memorial Day, but it will feature a tribute to our troops overseas
Racing Is Back At Nazareth!
The PPG Cup Series is holding its Inaugural race at Nazareth Speedway this season in replace of the second Kansas date. The historic track which was made famous by Roger Penske and its IndyCar races will come to life as the PPG Cup Series will tear up the track. The Valvoline NextGEN 400 will take place as the 30th stop on the PPG Cup Series calendar.
